Playthrough

A headline is a number of cedis. Playthrough is what stands between that number and a withdrawal, and it does more to decide what an offer is worth than the headline does. Thirty times a bonus is not thirty times harder than once, it is a different product: each pass through gives back a fraction less, and the arithmetic is unforgiving well before the multiple gets large.

The multiple is only half of it. The other half is what the turnover has to be made of. A requirement that has to be met on accumulators of three or more selections at a minimum price is a materially harder requirement than the same multiple with no restriction, and a split requirement, part on sport and part inside a casino product, is harder still because half the money has to go somewhere the customer may not want to go.

A clock sits on top of both. A week to clear and a month to clear are different offers wearing the same percentage, and the shorter one is the one that quietly expires unused.
